Valley Hi Hotel

The owner Joe is very nice and patient. He give out advice for food, transportation and trip. Simon is very handsome and nice too, he helped me carry my very heavy baggage. The room is very spacious and quiet. Even it is near a road, I can barely hear any noise from outside. I booked a one queen bedroom but they gave me 2 queen bed bedroom. The hot tub downstairs is very cozy and nice too, I really love sitting there and watching the snow! It’s a tiny town so everything is half an hour walk and there is shuttle but to the ski resort every 15 minutes for free. If I ever comeback back for another visit, I definitely stay here.

This is a great value for accommodation if you are skiing Winter Park ski resort. Simon, who works here, even helped us carry in our luggage! We used the microwave in our room to heat up leftovers for dinner. Complementary coffee, juice, pastries, yogurt and cereal offered in the morning. Bus transfer to the ski resort right across the street.

Nice and roomy rooms, friendly staff, affordable, and the outdoor hot tub was wonderful and a huge bonus! Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for a weeklong ski vacation that we booked at the last minute. We typically rent a condo when we come out west to ski, but it was spring break and everything left was very expensive, so we went with this motel. We loved our stay! Our room was huge and immaculate. It had a convenient kitchenette (no oven) that was equipped for cooking simple meals. The hot tub is excellent and very clean. Breakfast is simple but gets the job done. Location cannot be beat — across the street from the free shuttle up to the resort and walking distance to everything in town. We would happily stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

This classic motor lodge-style hotel is simple and wonderful. It is located right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Winter Park. It is run by a caring staff and ownership. They were friendly, attentive and kind. We will definitely look forward to staying here again.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. First and foremost, it was very CLEAN! That is the most important thing when it comes to hotels for me. I liked how the bathroom was separate of the wash, and there was a nice amount of amenities as far as in room conveniences go. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc. the decor in the room gave me a ski lodge feel, which I really liked. The breakfast was not huge, but it was well thought out and of good quality. A very unique and lovely stop along our journey. I couldn’t have been more appreciative. You can tell the owner truly cares about their guests.

I love this place. Rooms were tidy. Hot tub on the back deck. Breakfast just outside our door. Simon and his family put in a lot of work to look after their guest. Close to the bus stop too, so it's easy to walk out the door and hop the bus to the ski resort - or over to Fraser. Only a short walk to Cooper Creek Square and Deno's Mountain Bistro. Pet friendly too.

We thought our host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet at night, and the hotel was located in the heart of the town, where we could walk to anywhere we wanted to go.
